
David Wenall
David was born on January 1, 1918 in Kingsburg, California. He was graduated from High School in 1936 and a few years later from Reedley Junior College. He served in the Army as a cook from 1941-'45 in Hawaii and Texas where they were training the troops.

After leaving the service he worked as a plumber until 1980 when he retired.

He started lapidary in 1939 when he took geology courses in college. After retirement he devoted his time in collecting rocks and owned four mining claims. He was a member of Sequoia Mineral Society and the Fresno Gem & Mineral Club.
